Any camera. Any file.

RAW from Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm and other cameras, Apple ProRAW, JPEG and HEIC. masoc decodes RAW with Apple’s RAW engine and puts the look on first, so every slider still works on top of it.

Looks work on video too. masoc develops Log footage from twelve camera profiles like RAW, and the look goes on after.

Dial it in. Make it yours.

Every look has an intensity from 0 to 120 percent. Mark your favorites, combine a look with your own edits, and save the result as a preset of your own. On Mac and iPad, a look previews on your photo the moment you hover it.

Bring your own LUTs.

Any .cube LUT works in masoc, on photos and video.

  1. Save the .cube file to Files on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
  2. Open it with masoc, or import it in Looks.
  3. Pick it in Looks on any photo, and set the intensity.

Lightroom presets come in the same way, as .xmp files. More about switching from Lightroom.

Questions

Do I need a Fujifilm camera?
No. The looks work on photos from any camera, Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm or iPhone, in RAW, JPEG or HEIC. The photos on this page were taken with an iPhone and a Sony.
Will a look match a Fujifilm camera exactly?
Close, but not pixel for pixel. Every sensor sees color a little differently. The intensity slider sets how strong a look is, from 0 to 120 percent.
Can I use my own LUTs?
Yes. Import any .cube LUT, and it sits right beside the built-in looks, ready for every photo and video.
Do looks work on video?
Yes. Every look works on video too, Log footage included. masoc develops Log like RAW before the look goes on.
