Depth and blur

masoc reads the depth of a single photo and lets you shape the blur after the shot, with the focus wherever you tap.

Smart Edit

Type or say what you want, like “moody film look”. Speech is transcribed on the device, and Apple Intelligence turns your words into slider values you can still change.

Retouch

Brush over what doesn’t belong. The fill is painted on the device too.

  • No upload. Your library stays where it is. There is no cloud you have to use.
  • No connection needed. Editing, every AI feature and exporting work offline, on a plane or far out in the field.
  • Your metadata, your call. Keep or strip location, camera and date when you export.

Why on-device matters.

A photo can tell where you live, who you love and where you were last night. It shouldn’t have to travel to a server to get a better sky.

It’s also simply faster. Nothing waits on an upload, and every result is there the moment the model is done. And it keeps working when the connection doesn’t.

Does masoc upload my photos?
No. masoc edits on your device and has no server to send them to. Masks, depth, retouching and Smart Edit all run on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
Does Smart Edit send what I type or say to a server?
No. Speech is transcribed on the device, and Apple Intelligence turns your words into slider values right there. Smart Edit needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence.
Does masoc work offline?
Yes. Editing, every AI feature and exporting work without a connection, on a plane or far out in the field.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. masoc doesn’t need to know who you are.
